If the Windows Update does not help, then the issue is likely to be caused by anti-virus software falsely detecting EAC protected game as malicious software.
This error appears when the system is unable to load any kernel-mode driver. This would indicate a system level corruption, which unfortunately is most often irreversible without re-installing Windows. Possible causes are a rootkit virus infecting the system, blocking any other non-boot-time driver to be loaded, or a corrupted old anti-virus installation that failed to uninstall cleanly. In either case, we strongly recommend you to reinstall Windows.
This error is occurring because there is an issue with your kernel, this can be either a virus ( trojan, rootkit ) or a very old Operating System that has never been updated. Usually people with these kind of problems installed antivirus software, cleaned their system and the game was starting. Alternatively, restarting your computer will also resolve this issue.
This error message happens because LiveGuard MU AntiCheat failed verifying the game installation. It might be caused because of a modified, corrupted or a missing file in the game installation. Verifying the integrity of game or reinstalling the game should fix the problem.
If the problem persists, it is best to contact the support team for your game.
This error message happens because “something” is preventing or removing the LiveGuard MU AntiCheat drivers from the Windows Kernel.
If you are not technical enough to understand this, then you must know that your Operating System may be virused, or infected with trojans/rootkits, and you can always clean your Operating System with a professional AntiVirus like NOD32 or Kaspersky.
This message happens very often in Windows XP that have never seen an antivirus software and it`s infected. ( we have seen players with over 1000+ viruses in their windows xp system ).
But this message will be triggered not only in these cases, but when a hacker is trying to “unload” the LiveGuard MU AntiHack system drivers. Beware of those who make fake reports in the hope that you will do something about it so eventually they can hack/cheat.
You don`t have to panic if the logo is showing upon game start, but then nothing happens, there is always a reason for this. Checking the logs in the “LiveGuard” folder will help you indentify the issue.
Many players with very old Windows XP, or just bad copies installed on their PC may find the AntiHack “getting stuck” at the loading screen.
This is because the client cannot connect to the AntiHack server. The fix is quite simple, and it is done via the Windows “cmd”.
The command you need to run is: netsh winsock reset
Everybody knows how to open the Command Prompt, Go to Start -> Run -> enter “cmd” and press enter.
Any other issues will be reported in the LiveGuard folder ( client side ).
This error means that Windows is unable to verify the LiveGuard MU AntiCheat’s code signing certificate. This could be caused by your anti-virus software interfering with LiveGuard MU AntiCheat or then for some reason the Windows Certificate Store is not up-to-date.
To fix this, first install all latest updates through Windows Update, restart Windows once for changes to take effect. If the issue persist make sure that your anti-virus software is up to date and is not interfering with LiveGuard MU AntiCheat. You could try to completely uninstalling your anti-virus software, restart Windows and then download the latest version from the anti-virus vendors website.
Most antiviruses use heuristic scans to detect protected viruses and trojans. Due to LiveGuard MU AntiCheat being well protected, sometimes these heuristic scans generate false positives. Usually uninstalling an outdated AV version and installing the latest from the vendor’s website fixes this issue.
We are constantly working in improving LiveGuard MU AntiCheat user experience and working with major antivirus companies to get LiveGuard MU AntiCheat whitelisted permantently. You can also help us by reporting a false positive to your antivirus vendor. You can find a false positive link from here. Before reporting false positive please check that you have the latest virus signatures installed in your antivirus software.
If you use an outdated version of some of the listed antivirus softwares above, you might still get a false postitive detection. In this case please update to latest version or add a manual exception.
